This winery is owned by the Herzog family, the sole supplier of wine to Emporer Franz Joesef I of Austria during the mid-1800's.  Royal Kedem produces more than 25 kosher wines (Kedem is Yiddish for "forward" or "renew our days as before") and visitors can taste them in a 130-year old train station that overlooks the Hudson. Call for hours.
