The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is the home of a remarkable collection of modern art masterpieces by such major 20th century artists as Pablo Picasso, Vasily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall, and Piet Mondrian. The landmark building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright sits across from Central Park on New York's Museum Mile.  With a new tower addition designed by Gwathmey Siegel & Associates, exhibit space is greatly increased.
