Housed in the former residence of Henry Clay Frick, the Collection includes some of the best-known paintings by the greatest European artists, major works of sculpture (with one of the finest groups of small bronzes in the world), superb 18th century French furniture and porcelains, Limoges enamels, Oriental rugs, and other remarkable works.

In addition to its regular exhibits, the Frick Collection from time to time offers Special Exhibitions, as well as a fairly full schedule of concerts and lectures.

Due to space limitations, guided tours are not conducted; nor are school programs. However, groups may take a Self-Guided Tour with the aid of guides that may be purchased at the museum. It is certainly a worthwhile trip for those interested in fine works of art.

A 20-minute audiovisual program, An Introduction to the Frick Collection, is shown daily, on an hourly basis. Call for exact times. Groups should consist of 50 people or less. School children should be at least ten years old, and classes divided into groups of ten or fewer, each accompanied by an adult.

Hours: Tuesday thru Saturday 10am to 6pm , Sundays 11am to 5pm. Last tickets sold 30 minutes prior to closing. Closed Mondays. Closed most major holidays and on some collection hours are limited. Call for details or visit the official website linked above.
