Recently opened at its new home, the New Museum has no permanent displays. Instead, it produces three to four major exhibitions each year, and more than a dozen smaller exhibitions.
The Museum is a showcase for artists interpreting todays issues and events, often showing work that is controversial, provocative, unknown, or unrecognized. The works reflect the cultural and racial diversity of our society.
In addition to these unusual and excellent exhibitions, the New Museum offers exciting programs and performances.
Call the New Museum, or visit the official website, for information on current programming, including educational programs for families and groups. And visit the Museum store.
