Just about anyone, railroad buff or not, would love a ride on the Black River & Western Railroad. Drawn by either a restored steam locomotive or a 1950's diesel, these antique coaches, parlor cars (Bishops) and cabooses are a joy to ride in.

The train takes a scenic route between Flemington and Ringoes, NJ. Flemington offers great shopping in its outlet stores, and Ringoes features a fully restored 1854 Train Station. The ride from Ringoes to either destination takes about 30 minutes.

Throughout the year a number of special events are offered, including holiday excursions during Easter, Independence Day, Halloween and Christmas, as well as various festivals that the entire family will enjoy. Dining trips are available, with excellent meals served in the dining car.

A train and any number of coaches can also be chartered for special trips by any organized group, including School Groups.
