How far away is Wild West City? About an hour, or about 120 years . . . depending on how you look at it! Since 1956, people have been stepping back to the thrilling days of the Old West at this unique attraction just off Interstate 80.

Wild West City is an authentic reproduction of Dodge City in the 1880's. It presents a rich variety of western Americana. Between the hours of 11am and 6pm, something exciting happens about every fifteen minutes. See a Gunslinger test his lightning fast draw against Wild West City's marshall. Twice daily, a rider of the famous Pony Express gallops into town with important mail! Take cover as you watch the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. Experience a Stage Holdup by the notorious Jesse James. Children then get to join the posse that actually captures the James Gang! These and many other exciting events provide a full day's entertainment.

Visit a Western Barnyard and petting zoo. There are train rides, pony rides, and an Old West Stage Coach ride. An Indian Museum and Frontier Museum present collections of artifacts used in the Old West, providing a great educational aspect to your visit.

These are just a few of the happenings here; these and many more add up to a great family outing or a real treat for a group. 20 or more people comprises a group.

As a side note, Wild West City can be used for private parties, company picnics, etc. Inquire for details.
